The day’s biggest mover was US platinum bar, dropping 2 percent to settle at $1,614 per ounce on Feb. 22, 2013.
Japanese platinum bar fell 0.5 percent last Friday. Chinese platinum bar gained 0.3 percent.
The price of Chinese gold bullion rose 1.3 percent after a two-day drop. Following a 1 percent rise last Friday, the price of Japanese gold bullion closed up. The price of US gold bullion is back up as well, rising by 0.8 percent last Friday. Indian gold bullion prices inched up 0.6 percent.
After falling for two days, the price of Chinese silver rose 0.9 percent. After a 0.8 percent increase, Indian silver finished the day with a rise. Following a two-day drop, the price of US silver increased by 0.4 percent. Japanese silver saw little change in its price last Friday.
