Weather Warning on Body Piercings and Metals

by on

Slovenia hit a record low temperature this weekend of -49 C (-56.2 F).   According to the Meteorological Institute of Germany, those with body piercings who wear metal jewelry are at very serious risk should they go outside. We also caution anyone who is tempted, to avoid licking metal and or dipping your hand in water and touching metal while outdoors. (Not that we can think of a reason anyone would engage in such folly)

Of course If any of our readers find themselves in Tok, Alaska (where the temperature is -78 F), NPR did a nice story on foot gear. That story refers to a very popular blog written by a lady with plenty of advice about living in -78 F weather, not that any of us intend to do so.

On the other hand, here is my forecast for Chicago. Perhaps I can start a similar blog?
