The flow and malleable nature of water inspired Zaha Hadid’s vision of kitchen and bathroom faucets, which was commissioned by British filter tap company Triflow. What began as a study of the fluid geometries of water in motion transformed into poetic stainless steel hardware for the home. Hadid’s unique seamless shapes are matched by an innovative technology that dispenses water three waysconventional hot- and cold-water channels, with a dedicated waterway for filtered drinking water. A handle controls the release of hot and cold water, while an electronic button activates the filtered water. When the filter requires replacement, a green halo light changes to red. As the design’s tagline encourages, Tap into the future.
