On July 30, 2012, US palladium bar jumped up 2.3 percent, landing at $582.00 per ounce and making it the day’s biggest increase. The price of Chinese palladium bar increased 1.4 percent to CNY 140.00 ($21.94) per gram. Japanese palladium bar gained 0.5 percent to finish at JPY 1,445 ($18) per gram.
Following two days of rising prices, the price of Japanese platinum bar dropped 0.3 percent to JPY 3,548 ($45) per gram. Chinese platinum bar prices rose 0.2 percent to CNY 309.50 ($48.51) per gram. US platinum bar saw little change in its price yesterday at $1,404 per ounce.
Chinese gold bullion saw its price rise 0.4 percent to CNY 332.35 ($52.09) per gram. The price of Japanese gold bullion has been on the rise for seven days and is now at JPY 4,082 ($52) per gram. After a 0.2 percent increase, US gold bullion finished the day at $1,619 per ounce. Indian gold bullion prices saw a 0.2 percent decline to INR 29,798 ($538) per 10 grams.
At $28.03, the price of US silver finished the market day up two percent per ounce. Japanese silver prices inched up 1.6 percent to JPY 695.00 ($8.89) per 10 grams. Chinese silver finished the day up 0.6 percent to CNY 5,850 ($916) per kilogram. Indian silver saw its price rise 0.2 percent to INR 52,509 ($948) per kilogram.
