Automotive MMI®: US Palladium Bar Price Rises 12 Percent For The Week

The week’s biggest mover on the weekly Automotive MMI® was the price of US palladium bar, which saw a 12 percent increase to $651.00 per ounce. This comes on the heels of a one percent decline the week prior. One of the big movers this week was US platinum bar, which shot up 9.8 percent to reach $1,554 per ounce.

The price of US HDG rose 2.2 percent this week, closing out the fifth consecutive week of elevating prices.

The primary copper cash price rose 2.5 percent on the LME to $7,571 per metric ton after falling 1.9 percent during the previous week. The 3-month price of copper rose 2.5 percent on the LME to $7,575 per metric ton after falling 1.8 percent during the previous week. The Chinese lead price rose one percent after falling one percent during the previous week. Korean 5052 coil premium over 1050 sheet remained unchanged for the week.
