The price of Japanese platinum bar rose 1.6 percent after a two-day drop. US platinum bar ended the day with a 1 percent drop last Friday. Chinese platinum bar stayed flat.
Indian gold bullion closed 0.6 percent lower. The price of Japanese gold bullion finished the market day up 0.5 percent per gram. Chinese gold bullion prices rose 0.3 percent, and US gold bullion held its value last Friday.
The price of Japanese silver increased 0.8 percent. Following a couple of essentially changeless days, the price of Indian silver rose by 0.7 percent. The price of Chinese silver, following a couple days of improvement, fell by 0.3 percent. US silver prices finished the day after a 0.2 percent increase.
