1050 Aluminum Sheet Price Rises on Week, Indian Aluminum Down

European 1050 aluminum sheet improved by 3.8 percent on the weekly Aluminum MMI®.

The price of European 5083 plate, meanwhile, declined 1.4 percent over the past week.

The week finished with no movement for Korean 3003 coil premium over 1050 aluminum sheet. Prices for Korean 5052 coil premium over 1050 sheet also remained constant.

Chinese aluminum prices were mixed for the week. The cash price of Chinese aluminum rose 0.1 percent after falling 0.3 percent during the previous week. Chinese aluminum bar traded sideways last week, and prices for Chinese aluminum billet closed flat.

The cash price of primary Indian aluminum drifted downward 1.5 percent since last week.

The aluminum 3-month price rose 1.1 percent on the LME to $2,097 per metric ton after falling 3 percent during the previous week. The LME cash price of primary aluminum rose 1 percent to $2,069 per metric ton after falling 3.5 percent during the previous week.
