Praseodymium Oxide Price Drops Third Straight Week on Rare Earth Metal Index

The week’s biggest mover on the weekly Rare Earths MMI® was the price of praseodymium oxide, which saw a 2.5 percent decline. This week marked the third in a row of declining prices for the metal.

Cerium oxide prices were off by about $300 per metric ton from a week ago. Lanthanum oxide closed out the week with a 2.4 percent decline.

Following a steady week, most other rare earth prices tracked by the MetalMiner IndX closed flat, including dysprosium oxide, europium oxide and neodymium, among others.
