China Copper Wire Price Drops Today

On Oct. 10, 2012, Chinese copper wire fell by 0.6 percent, making it the day’s biggest mover on MetalMiner’s copper price index.

today's copper prices - MetalMiner IndXChinese copper bar ended the day after the 0.6 percent drop on Wednesday. The Chinese copper cash price saw a 0.6 percent decline also. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap was unchanged.

The prices of US copper producer grades 102, 110 and 122 did not move on Wednesday. The Japanese copper cash price also saw little movement.

After dropping for two days on the LME, the copper 3-month price flattened at $8,135. The LME cash price of primary copper flattened at $8,132 per metric ton after two days of downward movement.
