Chinese cobalt cathodes’s 1.8 percent decline made it the biggest mover on the weekly Renewables MMI®.

Silicon traded sideways last week, prices for neodymium closed flat, and Chinese steel plate remained essentially flat from the previous week.

Japanese steel plate prices held steady from the previous week. Korean steel plate prices also did not change. The price of US steel plate rose 0.3 percent after falling 2.1 percent during the previous week.

The price of US grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) fell 12 percent in late September.
