Japanese Silver Price Up Again

On Oct. 26, 2012, the day’s biggest mover on our precious metals price index was the price of Japanese silver, which saw a 3 percent increase. This increase comes after the price fell for the two previous days.

US silver prices inched up 1.2 percent. Chinese silver finished the day after a 0.6 percent increase. Indian silver held its value last Friday.

The price of US gold bullion rose 0.5 percent after a two-day drop. The price of Japanese gold bullion increased 0.3 percent. Following a two-day drop, the price of Chinese gold bullion increased by 0.2 percent. The price of Indian gold bullion held steady.

Japanese platinum bar finished the day down 1.6 percent. The price of US platinum bar is back up, rising by 0.2 percent last Friday. The price of Chinese platinum bar remained steady.

US palladium bar prices rose 1.2 percent. The price of Chinese palladium bar finished the market day up 0.7 percent per gram. The price of Japanese palladium bar remained essentially flat.
