China Copper Wire Price Down 10th Straight Day

On Oct. 29, 2012, the copper cash price fell by 1.1 percent on the LME, landing at $7,764 per metric ton and making it the day’s biggest mover on MetalMiner’s copper price index. The copper 3-month price on the LME has been on the decline for 9 days and is now at $7,765 per metric ton.

Chinese copper closed mixed yesterday.

Chinese copper wire closed 0.3 percent lower. For the 10th day in a row, the price of Chinese copper bar fell but still holds between $9,000 and $10,000 per metric ton. The Chinese copper cash price has been on the decline for 10 days also. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap held steady.
