The day’s biggest mover on MetalMiner’s global precious metals price index was US silver, dropping 4.2 percent on Nov. 4, 2012.
After remaining flat for three days, the price of Indian gold bullion fell 0.8 percent last Friday. Japanese gold bullion gained 0.6 percent, and Chinese gold bullion fell 0.5 percent. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of US gold bullion held flat.
The price of US platinum bar changed direction with a 1.4 percent drop after two days of improving prices. Japanese platinum bar finished the day with a 1.2 percent price increase. Chinese platinum bar finished the day down 0.3 percent.
The price of Japanese palladium bar finished the market day up 1.4 percent per gram. Chinese palladium bar prices inched up 0.7 percent. After improving for two days, the price of US palladium bar declined 0.7 percent.
