On Nov. 2, 2012, the day’s biggest mover on MetalMiner’s aluminum price index was the Indian aluminum cash price, which saw a 2.6 percent increase. The India price rise comes after it fell for the two previous days.
After a 1.4 percent increase, the cash price of primary aluminum finished the day on the LME at $1,908 per metric ton. On the LME, the aluminum 3-month price gained 1.1 percent to finish at $1,932 per metric ton.
Chinese aluminum prices were mixed for the day.
The cash price of Chinese aluminum improved by 0.1 percent last Friday. Meanwhile, Chinese aluminum scrap held its value last Friday, while Chinese aluminum billet and Chinese aluminum bar held steady also.
