The cash price of primary aluminum rose 1 percent on the LME to $1,900 per metric ton after falling 1.3 percent during the previous week. The aluminum 3-month price rose 0.9 percent on the LME to $1,928 per metric ton after falling 1.1 percent during the previous week.
Chinese aluminum billet closed out the week after a 0.7 percent decline. The Chinese aluminum cash price fell 0.4 percent for the week. Chinese aluminum bar remained unchanged for the week.
The week finished with no movement for Korean 3003 coil premium over 1050 sheet. Prices for Korean 5052 coil premium over 1050 sheet remained constant as well.
