Indian, LME Aluminum Cash Prices Lower on the Day

The cash price of primary Indian aluminum experienced the biggest price decline of the day on MetalMiner’s aluminum price index, dropping 0.7 percent on Nov. 9, 2012.

The 3-month price of aluminum declined 0.4 percent on the LME to $1,920 per metric ton, after two days of rises. The cash price of primary aluminum closed at $1,897 per metric ton, falling by 0.2 percent after a couple days of improvement.

Chinese aluminum prices closed flat for the day, with the Chinese aluminum cash price, aluminum scrap, aluminum billet and aluminum bar remaining unchanged.
