Rising 1.1 percent, the cash price of primary Indian nickel experienced the biggest change for Nov. 19, 2012, on MetalMiner’s stainless price index.
The nickel spot price declined 0.8 percent on the LME to $15,875 per metric ton, after two days of improvement. On the LME, the nickel 3-month price declined 0.7 percent to $15,945 per metric ton. The price of Chinese primary nickel saw a 0.3 percent decline.
Chinese 304 and 316 stainless coil and scrap prices all held their value yesterday, remaining essentially flat.
