On Nov. 28, 2012, the day’s biggest mover was the cash price of primary copper, which saw a 0.5 percent increase on the LME. Also on the LME, the copper 3-month price held steady.
The price of US copper producer grade 122 remained essentially flat and the Japanese copper cash price continues to hover for the fifth day in a row. The price of US copper producer grade 102 saw little movement yesterday and the price of US copper producer grade 110 also held steady.
Chinese copper prices closed flat for the day. The price of Chinese copper wire ended a two-day climb. After a couple of days of improving prices, the price of Chinese copper bar held steady as did the Chinese copper cash price, which also steadied following two-days of increases. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap remained essentially flat.
