The copper 3-month price experienced the biggest price decline of the day, dropping 1.0 percent on the LME on Nov. 29, 2012. Following two days of rising prices, the primary copper cash price dropped 0.8 percent on the LME.
Both the price of US copper producer grade 122 and the Japanese copper cash price saw little movement on Thursday. The price of US copper producer grade 102 remained essentially flat and the price of US copper producer grade 110 held steady.
Chinese copper prices were mixed for the day. Chinese copper bar finished the day down 0.1 percent. The Chinese copper cash price saw a 0.1 percent decline. The price of Chinese copper wire fell 0.1 percent and the price of Chinese bright copper scrap showed little movement on Thursday.
