Rising 1.7 percent, the 3-month price of copper experienced the biggest change on the LME for Nov. 30, 2012. Also on the LME, the primary copper cash price gained 1.6 percent.
The price of US copper producer grade 122 nudged up 1.2 percent last Friday. The price of US copper producer grade 110 finished the day following a 1.2 percent increase. The price of US copper producer grade 102 rose by 1.1 percent, while the Japanese copper cash price saw essentially no change for the fifth day in a row.
Chinese copper prices were mixed for the day. The price of Chinese copper bar increased 0.9 percent as did the Chinese copper cash price rose 0.9 percent. The price of Chinese copper wire finished the market day up 0.6 percent per metric ton. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap remained steady.
