US Silver Price Drifts 2.2% on Daily Index
On Dec. 5, 2012, the biggest mover on MetalMiner’s daily precious metals price index was US silver, which saw a 2.2 percent decline.
Indian silver prices ended up with a 0.7 percent drop yesterday. Chinese silver prices saw a 0.7 percent decline as well. The price of Japanese silver flattened following two days of declines.
The price of US gold bullion moved on Wednesday. After a few changeless days, prices dropped 0.8 percent. Chinese gold bullion finished the day down 0.7 percent. For the 7th day in a row, the price of Indian gold bullion fell. The price of Japanese gold bullion steadied after two days of downward movement.
US platinum bar prices fell 1.2 percent yesterday. Chinese platinum bar closed 1 percent lower. After a couple of days of decreasing prices, the price of Japanese platinum bar held steady.
The price of US palladium bar declined 1.2 percent. After dropping for two days, the price of Japanese palladium bar flattened. Following a two-day rise, the price of Chinese palladium bar flattened as well.
