LME Nickel Spot Price Improves Slightly

real stainless steel pricing - MetalMiner IndXWith a 0.8 percent increase over the past day, the spot price of nickel was the biggest mover on the LME, closing at $17,440 per metric ton on Dec. 6, 2012.

The LME 3-month price of nickel rose 0.5 percent to $17,480 per metric ton. The Indian nickel cash price fell 0.6 percent. The price of Chinese primary nickel is back up, rising by 0.4 percent yesterday.

The prices of Chinese 304 and 316 stainless coil and scrap were all unchanged on Dec. 6.
