Japanese Palladium Bar Drifts 1.5%

 Japanese palladium bar saw the biggest price decline of the day, dropping 1.5 percent to close at JPY 1,832 ($22.20) per gram on Dec. 12, 2012. The price of US palladium bar declined 0.6 percent to $693.00 per ounce. Chinese palladium bar closed 0.3 percent lower at CNY 165.00 ($26.42) per gram.

The price of Japanese platinum bar increased 1.2 percent to JPY 4,357 ($52.80) per gram. Chinese platinum bar gained 0.7 percent to finish at CNY 348.00 ($55.71) per gram. US platinum bar prices rose 0.7 percent to $1,631 per ounce.

At JPY 4,546 ($55.09), the price of Japanese gold bullion finished the market day up 0.4 percent per gram. Chinese gold bullion finished the day up 0.2 percent to CNY 343.70 ($55.03) per gram. Following a couple days of improvement, the price of US gold bullion weakened by 0.1 percent. Prices closed at $1,710 per ounce. Indian gold bullion held its value yesterday at INR 31,059 ($572.25) per 10 grams.

Following two days of rising prices, the price of US silver dropped 0.8 percent to $33.00 per ounce. After a 0.3 percent increase, Chinese silver finished the day at CNY 6,645 ($1,064) per kilogram. The price of Indian silver remained essentially flat at INR 60,841 ($1,121) per kilogram. Japanese silver stayed flat at around JPY 875.00 ($10.60) per 10 grams.
