Indian Silver Falls 3.8%

 With a decline of 3.8 percent to INR 60,192 ($1,105) per kilogram on Dec. 14, 2012, Indian silver recorded the biggest price drift of the day. US silver ended the day at $32.54 per ounce, after the 2.7 percent drop last Friday. The price of Japanese silver fell 0.6 percent to JPY 872.00 ($10.42) per 10 grams. The price of Chinese silver held steady at CNY 6,560 ($1,050) per kilogram.

At INR 30,926 ($567.81) per 10 grams, Indian gold bullion fell 1.7 percent last Friday. US gold bullion finished the day down 0.8 percent to $1,697 per ounce. Japanese gold bullion prices rose 0.4 percent to JPY 4,580 ($54.74) per gram. Chinese gold bullion closed 0.2 percent lower at CNY 341.20 ($54.61) per gram.

The price of US platinum bar declined 1.5 percent to $1,609 per ounce, after two days of improvement. The price of Chinese platinum bar declined 1.0 percent to CNY 344.00 ($55.06) per gram. Japanese platinum bar gained 0.7 percent to finish at JPY 4,377 ($52.31) per gram.

Japanese palladium bar took a large hit on last Friday, sliding down 3.5 percent before landing at JPY 1,768 ($21.13) per gram. Following a 0.3 percent rise last Friday, the price of Chinese palladium bar closed at CNY 165.00 ($26.41) per gram. US palladium bar prices saw a 0.3 percent decline to $692.00 per ounce.
