Loss Streak for US Silver

 On Dec. 20, 2012, the day’s biggest mover was US silver, which saw a 2.1 percent decline to $30.98 per ounce. Chinese silver closed 1.7 percent lower at CNY 6,310 ($1,012) per kilogram. The price of Indian silver declined 1.0 percent to INR 58,401 ($1,070) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver showed little movement on Thursday at JPY 868.00 ($10.30) per 10 grams.

Japanese gold bullion finished the day down 0.9 percent to JPY 4,504 ($53.47) per gram. At CNY 334.66 ($53.68) per gram, Chinese gold bullion fell 0.6 percent on Thursday. The price of US gold bullion fell 0.3 percent to $1,666 per ounce. Indian gold bullion saw little change in its price on Thursday at INR 30,589 ($560.67) per 10 grams.

Thursday saw the price of Japanese platinum bar drift down 0.6 percent to JPY 4,337 ($51.49) per gram after a couple of stagnant days. Chinese platinum bar ended the day at CNY 339.00 ($54.38) per gram, after the 0.4 percent drop on Thursday. US platinum bar prices saw a 0.3 percent decline to $1,587 per ounce.

After falling for two days, the price of US palladium bar rose 1.0 percent to $691.00 per ounce. After a 0.3 percent increase, Chinese palladium bar finished the day at CNY 164.00 ($26.31) per gram. The price of Japanese palladium bar remained steady at JPY 1,873 ($22.24) per gram.
