On Dec. 20, 2012, the day’s biggest mover was the price of Chinese primary nickel, which saw a 0.6 percent decline.
For the fifth day in a row, the prices of Chinese 304 and 316 stainless steel coil and scrap remained essentially flat.
The price of Chinese ferro-chrome saw little movement. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese ferro-moly held flat.
On the LME, the spot price of nickel fell 0.4 percent to $17,580 per metric ton. The 3-month price of nickel saw a 0.1 percent decline on the LME to $17,675 per metric ton.
The cash price of primary Indian nickel declined 0.1 percent.
