The price of Chinese steel plate increased by a slight 0.7 percent over the past week. The price of silicon rose 0.4 percent this week. Chinese cobalt cathodes remained essentially flat from the previous week.
Japanese steel plate traded sideways last week. Following a steady week, prices for Korean steel plate closed flat. Following a 0.7 percent increase, Chinese steel plate finished the week up. Prices for US steel plate remained constant.
The price of US grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) fell 7.1 percent this month.
