US Platinum Bar Price Drops on Automotive Metals Index
The biggest mover on the weekly Automotive MMI® was US platinum bar, which saw a 2.4 percent decline. The price of US palladium bar declined 0.1 percent over the past week.
The week finished with no movement for US HDG steel prices.
Following a 2.3 percent drop on the LME, the cash price of primary copper finished the week at $7,801 per metric ton. the 3-month price of copper closed last week at $7,778 per metric ton, after a 2.1 percent drop on the LME.
Prices for Korean 5052 coil premium over 1050 sheet remained constant, while the price of Chinese lead stayed essentially flat.
