On Dec. 28, 2012, US palladium bar jumped up 2.5 percent, landing at $707.00 per ounce and making it the day’s biggest increase. The price of Chinese palladium bar increased 2.5 percent to CNY 166.50 ($26.68) per gram. Following a two-day rise, the price of Japanese palladium bar flattened at JPY 1,910 ($22.08).
Chinese platinum bar saw little change in its price last Friday at CNY 328.50 ($52.64) per gram. The price of US platinum bar saw essentially no change for the fifth day in a row, remaining around $1,549 per ounce. Japanese platinum bar stayed flat at around JPY 4,265 ($49.29) per gram.
Chinese gold bullion saw its price rise 0.3 percent to CNY 334.31 ($53.57) per gram. The price of US gold bullion rose by 0.2 percent to $1,663 per ounce after a three-day flat streak. The price of Indian gold bullion remained essentially flat at INR 30,415 ($553.63) per 10 grams. The price of Japanese gold bullion steadied at JPY 4,569 ($52.81) per gram following two-days of increases.
Chinese silver prices inched up 0.7 percent to CNY 6,120 ($980.64) per kilogram. US silver gained 0.3 percent to finish at $30.14 per ounce. Indian silver prices rose 0.2 percent to INR 56,681 ($1,032) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver remained steady at JPY 822.00 ($9.50) per 10 grams.
