US Copper Producer Grade 122 Price Down

today's copper prices - MetalMiner IndXUS copper producer prices experienced the biggest price decline of the day, dropping 0.7 percent on Jan. 17, 2013.

Chinese copper prices were mixed for the day. The price of Chinese copper wire fell 0.4 percent. Chinese copper bar finished the day down 0.3 percent. The cash price of Chinese copper declined 0.3 percent. For the fifth day in a row, the price of Chinese bright copper scrap remained essentially flat.

On the LME, the 3-month price of copper fell 0.4 percent to $7,910 per metric ton. The cash price of primary copper saw a 0.4 percent decline on the LME to $7,939 per metric ton.
