Renewables MMI®: Silicon Price Rises 1.5%

On the weekly Renewables MMI®, silicon rose 1.5 percent to finish as the week’s biggest price mover.

The price of Chinese cobalt cathodes did not change since the previous week. The week finished with no movement for the neodymium price.

The price of US grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) fell by $65 per metric ton from December to January on MetalMiner’s daily pricing service.
