Chinese platinum bar prices rose 0.8 percent to CNY 360.00 ($57.84) per gram. Japanese platinum bar closed 0.7 percent lower at JPY 4,792 ($54.12) per gram. The price of US platinum bar continues hovering around $1,549 per ounce for the fifth day in a row.
At JPY 4,805 ($54.27) per gram, Japanese gold bullion fell 1.4 percent yesterday. At INR 30,700 ($570.46), the price of Indian gold bullion finished the market day up 0.7 percent per 10 grams. After a 0.1 percent increase, US gold bullion finished the day at $1,692 per ounce. Chinese gold bullion stayed flat at around CNY 339.85 ($54.60) per gram.
Japanese silver ended the day at JPY 896.00 ($10.12) per 10 grams, after the 1.3 percent drop yesterday. The price of US silver has been on the rise for 9 days and is now at $32.21 per ounce. Indian silver saw its price rise 0.5 percent to INR 58,986 ($1,096) per kilogram. Chinese silver prices inched up 0.3 percent to CNY 6,480 ($1,041) per kilogram.
