Japanese Silver Price Moves Up 1.8%

On Jan. 30, 2013, the day’s biggest mover was Japanese silver, which saw a 1.8 percent increase. Following a two-day drop, the price of US silver increased by 1.8 percent. The price of Chinese silver rose 0.8 percent after a two-day drop. Following a 0.4 percent rise yesterday, the price of Indian silver closed up.

The price of US gold bullion is back up, rising by 0.6 percent on Wednesday. The price of Indian gold bullion fell 0.4 percent. Japanese gold bullion finished the day up 0.4 percent. Chinese gold bullion gained 0.3 percent.

The price of Japanese platinum bar finished the market day up 0.9 percent per gram. The price of Chinese platinum bar increased 0.8 percent. For the fifth day in a row, the price of US platinum bar remained essentially flat.

today's metal prices - MetalMiner IndX US palladium bar prices inched up 1.6 percent. After a 1.1 percent increase, Chinese palladium bar finished the day up. Japanese palladium bar prices rose 0.6 percent.
