US copper producer grade 110 price saw the biggest upwards shift for the day, rising 1.1 percent on Feb. 4, 2013. The price of US copper producer grade 122 rose 1.1 percent as well, and so did the price of US copper producer grade 102.
The Japanese copper cash price held steady.
Chinese copper closed mixed on Monday. Chinese copper wire prices rose 0.8 percent. Chinese copper bar gained 0.8 percent. The cash price of Chinese copper rose 0.8 percent as well. Chinese bright copper scrap saw little change in its price on Monday, however.
On the LME, the primary copper cash price declined 0.3 percent to $8,189 per metric ton. Also on the LME, the copper 3-month price fell 0.1 percent to $8,160 per metric ton.
