On Feb. 15, 2013, the day’s biggest mover was the 3-month price of copper, which saw a 0.3 percent decline on the LME to $8,234 per metric ton. Also on the LME, the cash price of primary copper declined 0.3 percent to $8,197 per metric ton.
The price of US copper producer grade 122 saw a 0.2 percent decline. The price of US copper producer grade 110 declined 0.2 percent as well. The price of US copper producer grade 102 fell 0.2 percent. The Japanese copper cash price held steady.
Chinese copper bar, scrap, wire and cash prices were flat for the day.
