Chinese Silver Price Falls 4.8%

The price of Chinese silver fell 4.8 percent on Feb. 18, 2013, making it the day’s biggest mover. US silver prices saw a 2 percent decline. The price of Indian silver fell 0.7 percent. The price of Japanese silver is back up, rising by 0.1 percent last Friday.

After three essentially changeless days, the price of Chinese gold bullion dropped 3.3 percent last Friday. The price of US gold bullion declined 1.5 percent to just above $1,600 per ounce. Indian gold bullion finished the day down 0.8 percent. The price of Japanese gold bullion increased 0.5 percent.

today's metal prices - MetalMiner IndXFriday saw the price of Chinese platinum bar drift down 2 percent after three quiet days. US platinum bar closed 1.7 percent lower. Japanese platinum bar gained 1.7 percent to finish up.

US palladium bar ended the day after 1 percent drop last Friday. After remaining flat for three days, the price of Chinese palladium bar fell 0.5 percent last Friday. The price of Japanese palladium bar was essentially unchanged.
