US Palladium Bar Up After Two-Day Decline

Weakening prices changed direction when the price of US palladium bar rose 0.9 percent on Feb. 19, 2013 to $761.00 per ounce. Chinese palladium bar gained 0.5 percent to finish at CNY 184.00 ($29.47) per gram. The price of Japanese palladium bar remained essentially flat at JPY 2,240 ($23.92) per gram.

The price of US platinum bar is back up, rising by 0.8 percent on Tuesday to close at $1,693 per ounce. Japanese platinum bar ended the day at JPY 5,084 ($54.30) per gram, after the 0.4 percent drop yesterday. Chinese platinum bar stayed flat at around CNY 361.00 ($57.82) per gram.

At JPY 4,855 ($51.86) per gram, Japanese gold bullion fell 0.5 percent yesterday. Chinese gold bullion saw little change in its price yesterday at CNY 326.92 ($52.36) per gram. The price of Indian gold bullion flattened at INR 29,839 ($550.69) per 10 grams after two days of downward movement. The price of US gold bullion flattened at $1,610 following two-days of declines.

The price of US silver rose 0.6 percent to $29.98 per ounce after a two-day drop. After falling for two days, the price of Indian silver rose 0.2 percent to INR 55,949 ($1,033) per kilogram. The price of Chinese silver held steady at CNY 6,100 ($977.00) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver remained steady at JPY 854.00 ($9.12) per 10 grams.
