Small Drift for US Copper Producer Grade 122 Price
US copper producer grade 110 price saw the biggest decline of the day, dropping 2.1 percent to close at $4.28 per pound on Feb. 20, 2013. The price of US copper producer grade 122 weakened by 2.1 percent, settling at $4.28 per pound. The price of US copper producer grade 102 declined 2.0 percent to $4.47 per pound. The Japanese copper cash price held steady at JPY 640,000 ($6,829) per metric ton.
Chinese copper closed mixed yesterday. Chinese copper bar closed 0.4 percent lower at CNY 59,030 ($9,453) per metric ton. The cash price of Chinese copper fell 0.4 percent to CNY 59,230 ($9,485) per metric ton. At CNY 58,130 ($9,309) per metric ton, Chinese copper wire fell 0.4 percent yesterday. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap increased 0.2 percent to CNY 48,850 ($7,823) per metric ton.
On the LME, the cash price of primary copper held steady around $8,069 per metric ton. The 3-month price of copper saw little price change yesterday on the LME at $8,105 per metric ton.
