On Feb. 25, 2013, the day’s biggest mover was the price of Chinese aluminum scrap, which saw a 5.1 percent decline. This was the first move after three changeless days.
The Chinese aluminum cash price declined 0.4 percent. Chinese aluminum billet finished the day down 0.3 percent. For the fifth consecutive day, the price of Chinese aluminum bar held flat.
The cash price of primary Indian aluminum has been on the decline for 10 days.
The primary aluminum cash price on the LME has been on the decline for 7 days and is now at $2,024 per metric ton. The aluminum 3-month price on the LME has been on the decline for 7 days and is now at $2,064 per metric ton.
