Closing at JPY 2,210 ($23.62) per gram on March 4, 2013, Japanese palladium bar saw the biggest change at a 5.6 percent. The price of Chinese palladium bar fell 1.1 percent to CNY 175.00 ($28.13) per gram. US palladium bar ended the day at $720.00 per ounce, after the 1.0 percent drop on Monday.
At JPY 4,739 ($50.65), the price of Japanese platinum bar finished the market day up 0.7 percent per gram. US platinum bar closed 0.6 percent lower at $1,571 per ounce. Following a two-day drop, the price of Chinese platinum bar increased by 0.3 percent to CNY 341.00 ($54.81) per gram.
After a 0.8 percent increase, Japanese gold bullion finished the day at JPY 4,740 ($50.66) per gram. Indian gold bullion finished the day up 0.3 percent to INR 29,480 ($536.89) per 10 grams. At $1,577 per ounce, US gold bullion fell 0.2 percent yesterday. After a couple of days of decreasing prices, the price of Chinese gold bullion held steady at CNY 320.30 ($51.49).
After falling for two days, the price of Indian silver rose 1.7 percent to INR 53,937 ($982.29) per kilogram. The price of Chinese silver rose 0.4 percent to CNY 5,905 ($949.21) per kilogram after a two-day drop. Japanese silver prices saw a 0.4 percent decline to JPY 850.00 ($9.08) per 10 grams. Following a 0.2 percent rise on Monday, the price of US silver closed at $28.58 per ounce.
