Japanese Palladium Bar Price Drops 2.0%

Japanese palladium bar had the largest decline on March 5, 2013, dropping 2.0 percent and landing at JPY 2,165 ($23.18) per gram. US palladium bar finished the day down 0.7 percent to $715.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar declined 0.6 percent to CNY 174.00 ($27.96) per gram.

US platinum bar ended the day at $1,566 per ounce, after the 0.3 percent drop yesterday. At CNY 340.00 ($54.63) per gram, Chinese platinum bar fell 0.3 percent on Tuesday. Japanese platinum bar prices saw a 0.1 percent decline to JPY 4,732 ($50.66) per gram.

The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 0.3 percent to JPY 4,728 ($50.61) per gram. Indian gold bullion prices rose 0.2 percent to INR 29,540 ($538.37) per 10 grams. Chinese gold bullion closed 0.2 percent lower at CNY 319.80 ($51.39) per gram. The price of US gold bullion declined 0.1 percent to $1,575 per ounce.

After falling for two days, the price of Japanese silver rose 1.3 percent to JPY 861.00 ($9.22) per 10 grams. Indian silver finished the day up 0.7 percent to INR 54,320 ($989.99) per kilogram. US silver ended the day at $28.54 per ounce, after the 0.1 percent drop yesterday. The price of Chinese silver remained essentially flat at CNY 5,900 ($948.03) per kilogram.
