Global Precious Metals MMI®: Japan Platinum Price Falls for the Week

The biggest mover on the weekly Global Precious Metals MMI® was the price of Japanese platinum bar, which saw a 3.3 percent decline. This comes on the heels of a 4.5 percent increase the week before.

today's metal prices - MetalMiner IndXFollowing a 0.3 percent increase in the week prior, the price of Chinese platinum bar fell 1.2 percent last week. The price of US platinum bar fell 0.6 percent after rising 1.8 percent the week before.

Following a 6.3 percent increase in the week prior, the price of Chinese palladium bar fell 3.2 percent last week. The price of US palladium bar fell 1.0 percent after rising 8.5 percent the week before. Following an 8.4 percent increase in the week prior, the price of Japanese palladium bar fell 0.4 percent last week.

The price of Indian gold bullion rose 1.0 percent after falling 0.9 percent during the previous week. The price of US gold bullion rose 0.9 percent. The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 0.8 percent after rising 3.1 percent the week before. The price of Chinese gold bullion rose 0.6 percent after falling 0.5 percent during the previous week.

Following a 0.5 percent increase in the week prior, the price of Indian silver fell 2.5 percent last week. The price of Japanese silver fell 1.3 percent after rising 4.8 percent the week before. Following a 0.8 percent increase in the week prior, the price of Chinese silver fell 1.0 percent last week. The price of US silver fell 0.8 percent after rising 1.5 percent the week before.
