Japanese Palladium Bar Down 1.7%

Weakening prices ended a three-day flat streak as the price of Japanese palladium bar fell 1.7 percent on March 22, 2013 to JPY 2,345 ($24.71) per gram. Chinese palladium bar prices saw a 0.6 percent decline to CNY 174.00 ($28.01) per gram. US palladium bar finished the day down 0.5 percent to $754.00 per ounce.

Japanese platinum bar closed 1.2 percent lower at JPY 4,838 ($50.97) per gram. The price of Chinese platinum bar fell 0.3 percent to CNY 333.00 ($53.60) per gram. At $1,577, the price of US platinum bar finished the market day up 0.1 percent per ounce.

The price of Japanese gold bullion declined 0.8 percent to JPY 4,914 ($51.77) per gram. After a 0.5 percent increase, US gold bullion finished the day at $1,615 per ounce. The price of Chinese gold bullion increased 0.3 percent to CNY 323.00 ($51.99) per gram. Indian gold bullion gained 0.2 percent to finish at INR 29,727 ($547.59) per 10 grams.

US silver finished the day up 1.2 percent to $29.18 per ounce. Chinese silver saw its price rise 0.8 percent to CNY 5,950 ($957.69) per kilogram. The price of Japanese silver increased 0.7 percent to JPY 887.00 ($9.35) per 10 grams. Indian silver prices rose 0.5 percent to INR 54,198 ($998.36) per kilogram.
