Indian Silver Declines 5.1%

Following two days of increases, the price of Indian silver dropped by 5.1 percent to end at INR 53,582 ($985.23) per kilogram on March 28, 2013. Chinese silver finished the day down 0.6 percent to CNY 5,855 ($942.09) per kilogram. The price of US silver declined 0.2 percent to $28.69 per ounce. Japanese silver saw little change in its price yesterday at JPY 873.00 ($9.25) per 10 grams.

A $1,363 price decline in the Indian gold bullion left the price at INR 29,564 ($543.61) per 10 grams. The price of Chinese gold bullion is back up, rising by 0.4 percent yesterday to close at CNY 321.49 ($51.73) per gram. The price of US gold bullion rose 0.4 percent to $1,605 per ounce after a two-day drop. The price of Japanese gold bullion fell 0.1 percent to JPY 4,864 ($51.56) per gram.

US platinum bar prices inched up 0.3 percent to $1,579 per ounce. The price of Japanese platinum bar increased 0.1 percent to JPY 4,815 ($51.04) per gram. Chinese platinum bar held its value yesterday at CNY 335.00 ($53.90) per gram.

Thursday saw the price of Japanese palladium bar drift down 1.4 percent to JPY 2,313 ($24.52) per gram after three quiet days. US palladium bar finished the day up 0.7 percent to $766.00 per ounce. Chinese palladium bar stayed flat at around CNY 174.00 ($28.00) per gram.
