The price of Chinese 304 stainless steel scrap was unchanged. For the fifth day in a row, the price of Chinese 316 stainless steel scrap remained essentially flat. The price of Chinese 304 stainless coil remained essentially flat as well. The price of Chinese 316 stainless coil held steady.
On the LME, the spot price of nickel declined 0.8 percent to $16,535 per metric ton. On the LME, the 3-month price of nickel fell 0.1 percent to $16,695 per metric ton.
The Indian nickel cash price flattened after two days of downward movement.
