This past week, Japanese steel plate dropped 10.0 percent on the weekly Renewables MMI®, making it the week’s biggest mover. US steel plate remained essentially flat from the previous week. Korean steel plate traded sideways last week.
Chinese prices were mixed for the week. Over the past week, silicon rose 7.6 percent. The price of Chinese cobalt cathodes rose 2.5 percent after falling 2.4 percent during the previous week. Neodymium remained unchanged for the week. Chinese steel plate prices held steady from the previous week.
