Japanese Silver Shifts 2.7%

Japanese silver saw the biggest upwards shift for the day, rising 2.7 percent to close at JPY 880.00 ($8.89) per 10 grams on 2013-04-10 07:36:07. US silver prices inched up 2.5 percent to $27.98 per ounce. Chinese silver prices rose 1.9 percent to CNY 5,675 ($914.64) per kilogram. Indian silver saw its price rise 1.3 percent to INR 52,002 ($952.67) per kilogram.

At $1,585, the price of US gold bullion finished the market day up 0.8 percent per ounce. The price of Japanese gold bullion increased 0.6 percent to JPY 5,054 ($51.06) per gram. After a 0.6 percent increase, Chinese gold bullion finished the day at CNY 317.19 ($51.12) per gram. Indian gold bullion finished the day up 0.3 percent to INR 29,343 ($537.56) per 10 grams.

US platinum bar gained 0.7 percent to finish at $1,543 per ounce. The price of Japanese platinum bar increased 0.1 percent to JPY 4,940 ($49.91) per gram. At CNY 326.00 ($52.54) per gram, the price of Chinese platinum bar was essentially unchanged.

Chinese palladium bar closed 0.6 percent lower at CNY 165.00 ($26.59) per gram. After improving for two days, the price of US palladium bar declined 0.5 percent to $726.00 per ounce. The price of Japanese palladium bar steadied at JPY 2,348 ($23.72) per gram following two-days of increases.
