US Copper Producer Grade 122 Price Jumps a Bit, China Prices Up

On April 10, 2013, the price of US copper producer grade 110 experienced the biggest change, rising 2.0 percent. The price of US copper producer grade 122 rose 2.0 percent as well. The price of US copper producer grade 102 rose 1.9 percent.

Chinese copper prices were mixed for the day. The price of Chinese copper wire increased 0.7 percent. The price of Chinese copper bar finished the market day up 0.6 percent per metric ton. The Chinese copper cash price inched up 0.6 percent. The price of Chinese bright copper scrap fell 0.5 percent yesterday.

At $7,515, the copper 3-month price finished the market day on the LME up 0.8 percent per metric ton. The cash price of primary copper flattened at $7,485 after two days of improvement on the LME.
