China Silver Price Rises

On Wednesday, April 17, the price of Chinese silver rose 5.0 percent on Wednesday, just off the thirty-day low of CNY 4,790 ($774.48) per kilogram it hit on Monday, April 15. After hitting a thirty-day low of $23.34 per ounce on Monday, April 15, the price of US silver rose 2.9 percent on Wednesday. The price of Japanese silver held steady at JPY 745.00 ($7.63) per 10 grams.

Just off of a thirty-day low of CNY 274.77 ($44.43) per gram, the price of Chinese gold bullion rose 2.3 percent yesterday. After hitting a thirty-day low of $1,369 per ounce on Monday, April 15, the price of US gold bullion rose 1.2 percent yesterday. The price of Indian gold bullion fell to a thirty-day low at INR 25,695 ($474.49) per 10 grams after shifting 0.8 percent. The price of Japanese gold bullion steadied at JPY 4,342 ($44.48) per gram following two-days of dropping prices.

The price of Chinese platinum bar rose 3.4 percent on Wednesday, just off the thirty-day low of CNY 308.00 ($49.80) per gram it hit on Monday, April 15. Following a two-day drop, the price of US platinum bar increased by 3.3 percent to $1,445 per ounce. The price of Japanese platinum bar is back up, rising by 1.4 percent yesterday to close at JPY 4,564 ($46.75) per gram.

After falling for two days, the price of US palladium bar rose 3.8 percent to $676.00 per ounce. The price of Chinese palladium bar rose 3.3 percent to CNY 156.00 ($25.22) per gram after a two-day drop. The price of Japanese palladium bar showed little movement on Wednesday at JPY 2,300 ($23.56) per gram.
