The price of Chinese 304 stainless coil moved on Monday. After a few changeless days, prices also dropped 5.2 percent. After holding steady for the past few days, the price of Chinese 316 stainless coil fell 2.6 percent. The price of Chinese primary nickel fell 0.7 percent. The price of Chinese 316 stainless steel scrap saw little movement.
The nickel spot price weakened by 1.0 percent on the LME, settling at $15,225 per metric ton. The nickel 3-month price saw a 0.7 percent decline on the LME to $15,305 per metric ton.
The cash price of primary Indian nickel saw little change in its price yesterday.
